4tet    RESONANCES II

Zzhr 4tet is a group made up of four exceptional musicians: Khaled Arman (rubâb, dilruba), Julien Monti (multiflutes) Olivier Nussbaum (bass, double bass, sarod) and Sylvain Fournier (drums, percussion). Julien Monti and Olivier Nussbaum have shared the European musical and artistic scene for some twenty years, and have more than a dozen joint creations to their credit! Together they experiment with different directions in composition and improvisation, passionately exploring the infinite horizons of creativity. They are interested in transdisciplinarity between different media (music, theater, dance, photography, video, painting, sculpture, literature, etc.), always with the same desire to highlight expressive meaning in a chosen aesthetic. It was during their various shows and creations that they met Khaled Arman (Afghanistan) and Sylvain Fournier  Julien Monti and Olivier Nussbaum decided to bring these two musicians together to form the new ZZHR 4tet. The four artists' shared taste for Oriental and Arabo-Andalusian music unites them, but in no way confines them. Indeed, they wish to go beyond stylistic connotations and explore together new musical horizons with unexpected colors where the crossbreeding of cultures will be at the rendezvous! Sylvain Fournier.
